Caravan boosts search

30 Jun, 2009 09:27 AM
POLICE received a strong response to an information caravan set up at Union Road a week to the day after a brazen daylight shooting of Des Moran.

Set up just metres from the Ascot Pasta and Deli Cafe, the information caravan was manned with uniform police keen to hear from Union Road regulars who may have witnessed something on the day of the shooting but had not yet come forward.

Police are still looking for one man alleged to be involved in the shooting and are hoping there might be someone who can shed new light on the events of June 5.
