A POLICE helicopter hovered over mourners and a large media pack at the funeral of Des 'Tuppence' Moran on Friday.

The funeral service, held at Roselyn Court Receptions in Essendon, was attended by about 100 people including Mick Gatto, who parked his car on a nature strip outside the venue in front of the media contingent.

Yeah but the cops were too scared to book Mick Gatto's $450,000 car for illegal parking. Gutless wonders? Or something worse?
